BE-DE-FU
Friday, July 16 and Aug. 20, 6:30 to 9:30 PM
Stoughton bead stores Midnight Moon and Diakonos Designs are serving up delightful evenings of BEading DEsigning FUn!  They are teaming up to offer a creative beading event for beaders of all ages and skill levels.  It's an opportunity to get together with others who are creative and like to have fun while creating.

For a $25 entrance fee you will receive $50 worth of beads from Midnight Moon and Diakonos Designs.  The beads that have been selected for this contest will be available for viewing at each store during normal business hours.  Come look at the beads and envision your unique designs for any wearable art--neckace, bracelet, rings, earrings, key fobs, hair ornaments...the sky's the limit. On Fridays, bring your friends, ideas, tools and any extra beads and embellishments from your personal stash and be ready to start creating at 6:30.  Design teams of one or more designers will work right up until 8:30 to complete their pieces.  Then, you'll all get together for viewing, sharing and judging at 9:00.

Contact either Lynn at Midnight Moon (877-1577) or Becky at Diakonos Designs (575-5642) for more information and to reserve your spot.  Spectators are welcome!  Come to check out some fresh ideas and techniques from fellow beaders all evening long.  They're looking forward to sharing the joy of creating spectacular wearable art with you at BE-DE-FU!

Locations: Diakonos Designs, 187 E. Main St. (above Cheeser's) and Midnight Moon, 184 W. Main St.
