Howard Academy For The Metal Arts

William L. Howard, Master Goldsmith & Gemoligist, will be giving tours & live demonstrations in both the Howard Academy, right on Main St. & at the HAMA forge, directly behind the school.  Get behind-the-scenes insight into jewelry and blacksmithing. lf you are interested in training for hobby or professional applications, the Howard Academy (which is state licensed & approved) offers seminars as short one day to the full program of 14 months.  For this years tour, we are focusing on the fascinating processes of making Damascus Steel and Mokume Gave.
