Clock Tower

Stoughton Opera House is a must see!  Even if you dont get to see a performance, you owe it to yourself to visit this amazingly restored performance center. 1900 seems like yesterday when you view all wood seats, 31 colors in decorative painting, the stenciling in the theatre itself is 22-carat gold leaf.  The original tin embossed ceiling has over 5 colors of metallic paint.  The balcony has 185 seats with mahogany finish with upholstered matching chairs in the 4 upper box seats.  It even boasts the original fire curtain with its hand  painted scene, surrounded by painted advertisements of the time. This Victorian-era theatre is now fully functional giving tours for the asking.
